Limited personal use of the institution’s equipment, tools, and materials is generally accepted when it does not interfere with the employee’s performance of their job responsibilities, the cost to the college is insignificant, the use is not for personal commercial purposes or for personal financial or other gain, and the use is otherwise in compliance with applicable laws and institutional policies.
